Houses are built using modern technologies and materials: Spanish tiles and Italian sanitary, oak or beech parquet, sealed windows, etc. Typical apartment comprises a big living room combined with a kitchenette and a dining room. There is one or two bedrooms.

Normally a bathroom is combined with a toilet and has a shower cabin or, sometimes, a wash tub. There is one or two terraces 4-6 sq. meters each, included into the total area. Standard one bedroom apartment is 40-45 square meters of total area and a two bedroom apartment is 45-55 square meters of total area. Garages can be a problem on the coast; however most of the new houses have allocated parking lots for the dwellers. Price of such Montenegro property is EUR 1 800-2 050 per square meter depending on the area.
